As 2025 is coming to an end and the busy task of preparing for the 2026 season is underway we wanted to give you all a quick update on a few things from us at Pock CC.

Following our AGM last month we are delighted to announce our team captains for the 2026 season are as follows….

1st XI Captain : Joel Taylor
2nd XI Captain: Ian Scott
3rd XI captain: Wes Smith
Pocklington Sunday XV captain: Joss Room

Alongside our new captains, I’m privileged to confirm that I have also been appointed a new role as chairperson of the club. Being part of this club for the last 9 years and watching it grow and become what it is today has been something I’m very proud of and I’m really excited along with the other committee members to make it even better for 2026.

Indoor nets will kick us off in January with both our junior and seniors alternating weeks at Pocklington School, starting with our juniors on Sunday 25th January (more info to follow) leading on to our pre season quiz in April.
