The Foss Evening League returned last night and our Division 2 side sponsored by Stamfords hosted Bishop Wilton on the first league game of the season. Batting first Wilton set a score of 93/6 from their 18 overs, Billy Higgins (2-11) and Robin Miller (2-25) making his Foss return for Pock both with wickets whilst Jonny Lofthouse (1-25) and Ted Donkin (1-17) on his own Foss return took the other wickets, there was also a welcome return to PCC action for Sam Shipley in the bowling attack.

Rich Readman (9) fell early in reply but Martin Stables (46*) anchored the innings and led the team to victory alongside Dan Croft (31*) as they reached the target to win by 9 wickets with seven overs to spare. Next week the team are away and face Stockton & Hopgrove.
